:lol::)As our 2nd year as a troop comes to an end, I would like to thank each girl for making it a memorable one. Each of you have brought a unique contribution to our group. I also would like to thank all of the parents for their patience with me during a hectic year and continuing to support their girls with scouting. Special thanks to Jolene and Traci for helping to ease the load at meetings. Your help makes a huge difference!

I encourage all of you to reflect back on this last year and write about your favorite memories in your journals. Some of my favorites inlcude visiting the fire station, making scrapbooks at our pajama party, doing the Mexican Hat Dance at our fiesta, making flower faries, walking in the parade, and learning new songs.

I look forward to the next year and the adventures that await us. My hope is that we will become more involved this year and provide an opportunity for each girl to shine. I encourage and welcome any suggestions, ideas, or requests to make this next year more enjoyable, smooth, and interesting for everyone. Until then, enjoy the rest of your summer, and I will see you soon!
